Can Someone Please Unplug And Plug It Back

Plagued by industrial paralysis, mass unemployment, government brutality
The citizens declare that they would rather have leaders who confess
That they are failing instead of those who claim to be changing
Their lives for the better yet they continue to impoverish them
In spite of their adversities, they always find solace in jokes
Such as: guys, this is not working for us, hence let's take
This country as a gadget, and reboot it a bit,
Or better still try to unplug and plug it back!
First it was the shutdown of companies,
Now it's the internet -- but how do you
Shutdown what you don't own?!
Hope next time they won't
End up trying to shoplift
Internet -- goodness us! --
With such feudal thinking,
That idea isn't far-fetched!
