Rekha Valliappan is an award-winning multi-genre writer of short fiction and poetry. She holds a MA in English Literature from the University of Madras and a LLB (Hons) from the University of London. Her work has won awards, featured in Best Small Fictions, Best Of anthologies, dozens of publications, and earned her the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominations. Some of the recent journals to publish her writing are the Stained Glass Quarterly 'summer' reading series 2025, The Stray Branch, Storms Literary Journal, Empyrean Literary Magazine, Angry Gable Press, Tamarind Literary Magazine, Stygian Lepus, Spinoza Blue Literary Magazine, SFPA Eye To The Telescope, The Polk Street Review (prize-winner), and many others.
