Robert Bach

Bob is a Doctor Emeritus, retired Palliative Care Physician at Northern Light, Eastern Maine Medical Center, previously a general and thoracic surgeon. He received a Masters of Divinity degree from Bangor Theological Seminary in 2007.
He is also founder of Partners in Health of Maine which has concentrated its efforts on the North Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua. In 2006 he received Nicaraguan’s “Orden Reuben Dario,” Humanitarian Award. In 2014 he received the International Humanitarian Award at the ACS Clinical Congress in San Francisco. In 2015 he received both the Mary Cushman, M. D. Humanitarian Award from the Maine Medical Association, and the Maine Hospice Council Humanitarian Award.
