Daylight Saving Time Before Spring

By Lydia Manx

A tick of the clock
Buzzing of alarms
Time moves ever so slowly

Night changes ever so gently
Morning shows up at odd hours
Life is changing

Flowers greet the daylight
Night blooming jasmine the dark
The world spins again.
