Greetings from Reno! The editor is taking the week off and has limited access to the internet this week. The excellent Hamtramck Walk series will be back next week, but for now please enjoy this picture of Don Quay, father to Sand Pilarki and grandfather to the editor, as a young man stationed in Bougainville in the Philipines. The editor's grandmother always said that Don looked just like Flash Gordon to her. The editor agrees.
