Seeking Refuge in the Sun

Seeking Refuge In The Sun

They said: run and run, never ever derail,
Run as if you have torched the touchy tail
Of a lion -- or treaded where seraphs shun,
Run as if you are destined to fly to the sun!

If she says stay, you are the night's next prey,
On your part play cool and collected: don't say
That's it! for she comes in diverse forms, flavors --
Like: real raspberry, chocolate, grey BUT devours!

The man listened to their words, what an advice --
How could they give him ice when he wanted spice?
After all, who doesn't like real raspberry or chocolate?
He went on and paid the price with a punctured pocket
