Stay home and write, read, or draw
You and me have struggled a lot more
We were weak in times, but we never fall
Shouldn't we see life as short, and easy
Then we wonder why do we burst in tears
We simply prefer to live with harmony
You taught me how to wear the biggest
smile and I took the pleasure in your positivity
Let's fight and talk about respect and forgiveness
Let's smile and discuss how love will walk us down a
church's aisle, by then I will no longer but the poet who
writes about you, instead, I will be the pleased lover
Enjoying the moments of you saying " I DO" to me
When you don't brush your hair, or even put makeup
on your face, I will be more than happy to give you
a warm embrace by the playing melody of jazz.
