Novitiate

By Sanjeev Sethi

Novitiate

My again I'm right
is shrouded in sorrow.
I want to err
once:
on apprehensions
about an entity.

Plasticine-like malleability
your unfaltering acceptance
of my formularizations
prepares me to envision
this is unlike others in meatspace:
sans bickering or bum rap.

Mentoring is akin
to an invocation.
Axons within me pray
it's never impaired:
by pomposity
and other paraphernalia.
