Two Tiny, Forgettable Poems

Two Tiny, Forgettable Poems

Our footprints,
like words in another language,
tell us something,
only if we want to know.

Even when my poems drag their feet,
they're easy
enough to ignore,
like a "Goodbye,"
said to someone
you thought you knew.
