Oliver and Lachlann

By Sanjeev Sethi

Oliver and Lachlan

Crying is his métier. It is his message,
his manifesto. To cry is to converse.
It is his arbalest in the front line of
existence. Oliver negotiates the fine
balance of caring and competing with
brother, a year older with obtrusive
tenor. When imperiled the first-born
starts his rendition. Chorus of cries
goads most guests to dodge the duo.
The mild ones key poems on them.
