Oblation
Offering a gesture,
In the form of a smile
Or handing silver and gold over to the poor
Repaying God for your blessings
In a multitude of forms,
Sacrificing comfort
For the sake of someone else's
Trying to clean the streets
To protect the community
Painting walls defiled by graffiti
Whichever way you choose
To serve or to sacrifice
Do it with sincerity.
