Bon Voyage

Bon Voyage

The moment elapsed:
palm on my pelvic
sang certain songs.
Petrichor intones those strains for others.

Touch cautioned me
of certitudes.
Wilfully you ignored the ignition
our breath issued.

The silence in my saliva
vows for our truth.
It’s wise to unlax:
as I hew words to a hearse.
