About Elaine Zentner

Elaine grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she developed a love for reading and writing in elementary school. At age eighteen she met Allen Ginsberg at a party. He read several of her poems then told her she had a talent for writing, but was rather immature in her views. She has since matured -- to a degree.

Elaine finds that she writes best if there's a little old school blues in the background. A cup of hot tea works for her, too. She gets her inspiration from listening to people gripe about useless stuff.

She lives with her husband, Paul and her chow mix, Lola in Citrus Heights, California. She is also co-organizer of a writers' critique group in Sacramento, California.
