About Rando Mithlo

As a teenager in the 80's, I listened to a lot of rock music and was inspired to write song lyrics in case I was ever invited to join a band; I wasn't, but that didn't stop me from continuing to write.

A friend turned me on to the likes of Stephen King, Kurt Vonnegut, and other dark and moody authors that would influence my jump to story writing. I wrote short stories for many years, mainly to entertain myself and then my kids. I was inspired to go public with these stories on the internet by my daughter, whom had published a book of devotional poetry. Over the past few years, I have had several of my stories featured on popular writer's blogs and I am aiming to release a physical book collection of short stories.

In my writings I love to explore interesting facets of human reactions when pushed to extremes along with strange happenings and phenomenon

Originally from Los Angeles, I've resided most of my life in northern Indiana and am an accomplished artist. I also write daily for my current employer.
