Andrew Fraknoi is a retired astronomer and college professor. He has had nine stories published so far, two in anthologies, seven in magazines. He has also written two children’s books and some manuals for teachers. The International Astronomical Union has named Asteroid 4859 Asteroid Fraknoi, in recognition of his contributions to the public understanding of science.
