Saturday Night, Stoned Alone

By Bradford Middleton

Saturday Night, Stoned Alone

It’s just another Saturday night and I’m sat
Around stoned, always stoned,
So high I’m flying towards some kinda
Blissed-out nirvana of insanity and yet
Somehow I know that tonight will end
Early as the clock tells me it’s just past 9
And this damn underwhelming game of
Football is leaving me bored bored bored
And right now as I lift my eyes from this
Screen towards my bed I can sense the
Beauty of a stoned-out early night coming
To take me away!
