Ice Flow

"...word by word bite my way back..."

Ice Flow

tears
cascade
ice over

over I go
slide for life
grab for straws

land in grayscale
laminated shale
razor choss cuts my feet

look up
wonder why

head down
can’t give in

look over
grab a pick

lace up shoes with teeth

word by word
bite my way back
ice melts on my tongue
