Ghosting

By Anthony David Vernon

Ghosting

I hear a familiar voice inside of me
Where is your love you're almost 30
Well, I'm one to be found
But I let them hit the ground...
So now I'll have no one at all
To show my memories
Or the places I've bled into
And all the stupid mistakes I've carried
They say you'll find someone, someday
But there she was
And there we were
In art deco museums
And her retrofitted car
So now I'll have no one at all
I can't fuck it up if there's no one at all
I can't fuck this up if there's no one at all

Enjoyed your poem very much.
Love can be elusive.
