Ode to the Backyard

By John Patrick Robbins

Ode to the Backyard

I love it when it's lush with a spacious view.
With just the right amount of jiggle and bounces when it moves.

A dog needs plenty of room to play as this hound always enjoys being free to roam.
Most poets write about flowers and pretty butterflies and other assorted bullshit.

But I prefer to pen writes about Whiskey, Drugs and loose women with fantastic asses.

Yes I am truly a literary renaissance man.

Prosit.
