Tomorrow and Today

By Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal

Tomorrow and Today

You bring tomorrow
and I'll bring today.
You bring your sorrow
and I'll bring my pain.

Let's put yesterday
deep in its grave.
Eat up your breakfast.
Everything will be okay.

Things can't get much worse
even if things don't get better.
The bottom has gone dry.
Still our tears are wet and warm.
Our tears are wet and warm.

Leave those ghosts living
back there in the past.
Let the healing come.
How long can sadness last?

You bring tomorrow
with a smile on your face
and I'll bring today
with a smile as well. Hey,

things cannot get much worse
even if things don't get better.
The bottom has no ceiling.
Still our healing time is due.
I see healing for me and you.
