A True Walk

A True Walk

Moving in the direction of the wind
is akin to flowing effortlessly.
The powerful currents
that propel you forward,
do not belong to anyone,
and are constantly pushing you ahead.

There is no time to process the impulse,
or look around,
and you simply have to go
wherever the gust takes you.
The wind's will is always dominant.

Walking against the wind
can be a challenge.
The strong breeze hits you head-on,
and you have to lean forward
to make progress.
The swirling dust and debris
create a vibrant atmosphere
that is reminiscent of a festival.
Leaves from nearby trees swirl and
dance in the turbulent wind,
while the tree itself sways back and forth.

A true walk is an experience
that encompasses these elements.
