Drunken Mist

"...I see faces I haven’t seen in a long time..."

Drunken Mist

dissipating, once more, into the
drunk mist, I see faces
I haven’t seen in a long
time, I recall memories buried
in the abyss of insignificance; how are
all these old
friends I once spent so many hours
with? does it
matter? probably not. booze engenders
thoughts, begets curiosity. Another
drink eradicates the memories, propels me
forth into a future destined to
evaporate along with the alcoholic fumes.
