Far and Wide

"... we found ourselves singing for days on end..."

Far and Wide

While surfing around youtube we found
Eddy Arnold, who was an old time singer

crooning that a cowboy's heart is as light
as a feather when he yodels the cattle call
oooh oooh oooh oop de doo

or something close to that, is what we found
ourselves singing for days on end, helping
us round up our hours of so much so fast

into a trail going in one direction, with
a melody that let us tilt our heads from
side to side in tune through all the
howlin' and prowlin' going on around us
