I got to shake a little bit
at the major's birthday party

dancing with his dog
in the backyard
barbeque

his wild wife joining me
and the dog
in a trot right out the back gate
into the alley

where we started a bigger party
with all the bums
that voted against him

telling stories
of what they've seen

from behind his fence.
