Temple Song

Poem

Clove cigarette smoke
wafts on the air
Ocean salt mingles in the night
Darkness -- folds a soul away
As bodies are dragged to the temple
Screams -- primal -- rot through the jungle
Chaos and fear rule
Sacrifices made to autumn night
On the edge of sanity.
