Beyond

"...nobody knows what will happen next..."

Beyond

What are you going to write about me?

You scribble down these lines,
to bring about the fourth dimension,
to frame words, the trope, the metaphor,

How to write after that, about the infinite?
the loneliness, and the clouds and orbit,

brilliant, trivial, unmooring,
joie-de-vivre, tintinnabulation,

Someone passes by counting with his fingers.
clean socks, laces, handkerchiefs, and blue shirts,
honks and voices, stereo speakers, noises.

I will walk with all the road ahead of me,
nobody knows what will happen next.

How dare one speak about the beyond?
The more I drink, the thirstier I become.

Your words can bring the face that I know or love.
