I'm Forever the Ice

"...As I allow you to fall..."

I'm Forever The Ice

That bears your weight for as long as it suits me.
As I allow you to fall with the obscenity that is a delusional fool's ego.

As your ascent is blocked by the ice that is my truth, that equally is your fatal mistake in trusting one as broken as I.
So beautiful is the view, as tragic this dance of strangulation in vain attempts.

Your eyes betray your weakness, as I kiss the veil that separates us eternal.
Recede to the darkest of depths as your soul mourns in the realization of all that never was me.
