The Final Escape

"...His spirit is rising, truly awake..."

The Final Escape

He is flatlining, he is flatlining
His soul is leaving his body
Out of beats, almost out of time
Inject him with vasopressin
All in vain, all in vain
No more lies, no more pain
He's ready to cross over

The doctors are shouting
Holding their heads
No point in trying
They declare him dead
His lovers are crying, tears of joy
Venomous bonds, mercury and lead

His spirit is rising, truly awake
Breaking away, breaking free
From the shackles of humanity
The third eye has opened
To reveal the truth
A cosmic rebirth

An end to his divine desolation…?
