the incident

the incident

alice opened
my office door
and i barked
“DON’T
COME IN!”
she closed it
abruptly.
“sorry sir!”
she squealed,
and slunk
away.
i buried
my face
in shame
after i just
got done
burning gas
through my
ass
and the room
stunk
wretchedly.
she would
have died
had she
breathed in
the air
i convinced
myself.
later,
i passed
by alice’s
desk
and apologized.
“you caught me
at a bad time,”
i said.
“no worries
sir!”
i nodded
appreciation.
“oh,
and sir!”
i turned from
the corridor.
“i went by
your office
and
it reeked
like a
dead animal!”
“ah yes.
please
have that
checked out
before i
get in
tomorrow.”
“yes sir!
goodnight!”
i nodded
goodnight.
