Applying User Policy

"...You are here to live the company’s life..."

Applying User Policy

Please remember
that the windows are only there
to steal a little light,
thus saving money whilst
increasing productivity.

They have not been installed
so you can gaze at the clouds, the sky,
the office over the street
rented by a rival.

You are here to live
the company’s life, not your own.
For any breaches of this policy
you will be sentenced
to make your home in the alley
behind the bookmakers,
share lodgings with former managers
and other debris:

spend your days staring up
at the sky, dreaming of your old desk,
your own stapler. Remembering
why we welcomed you in
and made you feel at home.
