Crazy Things

"...police arrived again to take his flesh in custody..."

Crazy Things

He shakes his head and creates
a show of snowflakes
on his soiled shoulders.
We gave him, instead of money,
shampoo and soaps once,
albeit he wouldn't waste water.

That is not the lone trick;
the day police arrived again
to take his flesh in custody
he crashed a bottle of spirit
against the red and moss wall.
The shard and sliver turned
into silver woolly moths and flew away.
