Happy Endings

"...Frost clings to the air..."

Happy Endings

Feel the wind grown colder now,
Frost clings to the air
No beginning anywhere somehow
Loss is all that’s there
Hold on to a strand of hope
A spider web of your dreams
Are prayers at all powerful
Can you still pretend they will end
Happy endings

See the wasteland shattered by the storm
Desolate and bare
Try to move yourself away from harm
You can’t move anywhere
A torn-up web of your dreams
Strands silvered by the frost
Another gust watch them colapse
And still you pretend different ends
Happy endings

Feel the breeze finally milder now
The promises of spring
So much lost now so long ago
Time to start again
Time for building up new dreams
Dreams can be powerful
Hold on to all that you believe
No need to pretend Dreams will end
Happy endings
