Rested, Looking Over the Wall

"...the muse has, it appears, returned ..."

Rested, Looking Over the Wall

I wake, nicely rested for once and ready for
The big long 9 hour shift I got later with
Feelings of relief as at last the muse has, it
Appears, returned and now I sit here, awake
Writing these words, putting the word
Generator to use at this time of day for the
First time in a long time.

Outside, for once I look up over the rich
Fuckers wall to see, the clouds remain
Static suggesting rain is again on its way so
This morning I think I’ll stay in and see
Where this odyssey will take me on this
Gloriously gray old day.
