When the Shit Hits the Fan

"...The inhumanity of man is just too much..."

When the Shit Hits the Fan

I see it when I’m walking about town sometimes
and it does nothing but make me chuckle as
Deep down under this gruff, some would say
Hostile, exterior is a kind, sensitive soul that
Loves and hates and used to call his nan his
Best friend growing up. Just like everyone
Else I laugh, I cry and sometimes all in the
Space of a day, an hour, hell sometimes even
A minute. Sometimes, you gotta understand,
The inhumanity of man is just too much for one
So sensitive to take and when that kind of shit
Hits the fan all I want is to run away and do
Myself the damage… As no doubt the second I
Throw a punch I’ll burst into tears as guilt will
Fill my very soul and soon the normal me will
Return all embarrassed and apologetic and
Begging forgiveness.
