Spot the Spot

"...where you make the poem your own..."

Spot the Spot

In every poem I write there's a
this-is-the-point-where-you-say-something moment,
a point where you make the poem your own.
Usually at the end,
for your convenience,
  but not always
but there is always a place. I dunno,
         an oasis,
        the eye of the storm,
        the speck in the teardrop.
Of course, you don't have to say something.
Somethings don't always have to be said.
Points don't have to be made.
  Or got.
We can end with a dramatic ta-dah.
Or a nondramatic one. They're good too.
