"...slow-mo with snowy landscape below..."

Flight to Destin, FL

Barely moving it seems, the Friendly Skies
of United--
some kind of slow-mo with snowy
landscape below, and
turbulence ahead--
A yelping kid across the aisle with
overweight mother repeatedly
"shush"ing...
Reflection of sun on a wing--
are we going down, or
no?
Could I squeeze out a porthole
if needed too?
Trembling airplane, aluminum needle of
no pain, surging
ahead.
