Dark side

"... A liminal moment, the dusk..."

Dark side

The evening lands
softly, in the
neighbourhood of
Toronto.

Fallen leaves rustle,
a
low-key soiree.

Fog
dissolves solidities, the
soft lines that pulsate
across dimmed skyline.

A liminal moment, the dusk.

The alleys wear the
grief of an immigrant
fired over phone, now
sobbing in the evening
train
crowded with zombies.

In a coordinated flight,
the Canadian geese, in
a coppery sky converse.
