The requiem**

"...a melancholic music..."

The requiem

The icy pellets pound, with the fury of
a drunk, locked out.

Wind howls
drops off, an exhausted tramp.

Silence.

Wind-chime
produces
a melancholic music

in the late-evening
Mississauga home

sunk in anonymity
of
developing gloom, a bird
screams some place, cloudy
sky.
