Cloud People

"...Sometimes I see people in the clouds..."

Cloud People

The clouds
I long to see the clouds
People
I long to see people too
Sometimes I see people
in the clouds
Sometimes I see
your brown eyes too
Cats and dogs
Well, where are they?
Only skulls remain
A few years ago
there were flowers
on the table,
there was oil, flour and water
to make bread
Now there is only the salt in the sea,
the cold reality of war,
of hunger, of innocence lost
It hurts
It hurts
It hurts
The membrane that is your silence hurts
The gland that your loneliness consists of hurts
Yes, even your memory hurts
It just reminds me of your absence
Yes, it hurts
Every night in my dreams I ask you
When are you coming back to me?
I am waiting for your return.
