Remembering Elvis and ...

“Just a rebel heart..."

Remembering Elvis and ...

“Just a rebel heart
And gasoline...!”

No red lips
No kisses
To remember

No highway
No neon too
Just the ‘blue’
Out of the ‘blues’

The thunder
The lightning
The deluge
The stagnant
Time, knocks
Slumber down!

“He has a calming effect!”

No more shrill protest
No more angry shake
Of those tiny legs!

No cries
No tears

And bang
They go!

It’s time to
Protect ‘life’!
No polio
No measles
No typhoid
No small pox

No...
No...
No...

But what about
Covid-19?

20 years have gone behind
And I had been running...

...Now out of gas though!

“No tomorrow, just today”
And...
Memories turn rebel
And
Spin out of
‘Control’!
