Nose Tastings

"...Wind wafted pungence of mowed grass...."

Nose Tastings

Aromas of infant skin and spit up.
Wind wafted pungence of mowed grass.
Throat rasping stench of the recently dead.
The almost present smell of good water.
The savory rot of new-turned earth.
The sour sweet of B.O. and perfume.
The acidulous rank of feces while sick.
The wafts of ozone before a thunderstorm.
The sweat-musk of just now carnality
The saliva-creating fragrances of food
The constant odors no longer noticed.
The immediacy of evanescence.
