Star Searchers

"...waiting for the stars to fall..."

Star Searchers

Could he be one of those
waiting for the stars to fall?

I pity him
not knowing the truth...

His kind of knowledge expanding
filling our skies into skulls.

Computers clapping
half Ai and half umbilical cords to earth.

His fingers scurrying across the keys.
Glow screens winking.

Robot rears
full of electrical charges and toxic gas.

Finally the stars flickering
with a pop fizz and cry of the coming...

The coming of what
he has no idea.
