The lost long summer

"...Not knowing what was true..."

The lost long summer

You said things
Did things
Not knowing
What was true
You gave me a glimpse of something new
With a future in tow
“this is gonna
Be a good summer”
Out on the lawn
Dew soaked feet
Sun beat down
BLACK OUT
Shut the door
Meager structure
Set aflame
Wind blew ash
Without a trace
Lost
Unfound
Dreams of summer loving-haunting
