Wings of Crane Flaps in Rain!

"A crane glides by... A kite follows..."

Wings of Crane Flaps in Rain!

A crane glides by...
A kite follows
Then a lone swallow
Batting its wings hard
Spirals up the air,
Turbulent, angry...

Waves of cool breeze,
Enter the room
And lash my bare chest,
A balm after a burning day
That erupts in patches
On the body as if to be endured
In secrecy as you nurse your
Bruised soul smitten by a siren
Out to devour you, your times
For reasons best known to her!

Like the swallow battling sudden
Surge of wet breeze to defy
gravity and fly away to safety
You, yet abed, force your mind
To soar high and crane your neck
To spot the whitish bird in
Kite-like glide, but feel instead
Cloud girls’ kisses on your cheeks...

Droplets begin to hit your
Window panes hard
And water flows down, moisten
Your bare chest; crevices of your
Bruised body longing for a touch.

Oh cloud girls! Drench me as
well with your love, balm to
bruised soul and body
that like parched earth craves
your full-hearted embrace!
