Sometimes
I feel stuck
frozen in my feelings
knowing exactly what I need to do
as fear congeals my energies
and my flow turns to mud

I feel trapped
wrapped too tight in my thoughts
not knowing at all what to choose
as dread distracts me
while I try to find the key
Sometimes
I feel scared
but I look for other feelings
like "stuck" and "trapped"
to mitigate the fear
of failing
