Outer Space

"The distance I picked was not far enough..."

The distance I picked was not far enough
I contemplated how I could get away
My mind thought of all the schooling it would take
To become an astronaut

Yes, that was the answer I sought
The way in which to make
This horrid life hold no sway
No matter how rough

I would go into outer space
Just to leave him far behind

That lousy man of mine
No more silly human race.
