A Million Miles Away

Poetry by Tyler Willson.

Soft Lips
Hiding teeth
For a Kiss
Exposing them
In a laugh
Coming close to an ear
To whisper

Blue eyes sparkle bright even
When they cry
Windows to a mind
Happy mind, loving mind,
Kind, intelligent, stubborn
Mind

Legs, intertwined
In the moonlight
With clean-shaven softness

Arms tight around a hug
Hands holding gently onto a caress
And scratching
In playful defense

All of these
A million miles away
