Labyrinthine

Blank verse. The architecture of emotions; some people put up more than just walls.

At the core --
a sadness
I cannot touch
or reach --
a madness
I cannot heal
or treat
locked inside
a fastness
I cannot pierce
or breach --
the fortress
into which
you retreat
