The Lake Of Vice And Valour

A timely vision of rights and responsibility...

the traveller marveled at those swimming at the lake of human rights

they swam against all the odds -- their gallantry too awesome to fathom

the bottomless lake was choking with corrosive dirt and inhuman odour

the shocked visitor caught sight of kidnapping snakes and sharks of ruin

he wondered about the whereabouts of the big fish of justice and peace

and whose overall responsibility was it to ensure the safety of the swimmers?
