Cardboard Queen

"...portrait of a real person..."

He dated her for twelve
months before he realized
she was only paper-thin

Someone rather artistic

portrait of a real person

Even with lips pursed
just the way he liked them

But soon the wind blew
and his dream flapped
onto the hard concrete

And that was that.
